Orthodontic Referrals

An orthodontic referral is a recommendation from a general dentist for a patient to see an orthodontist. This typically occurs when there are issues with tooth alignment, bite problems (like overbite or underbite), jaw discomfort, or developmental concerns, especially in children.



Orthodontic referrals for chidren are made via the NHS unless requested otherwise.
